Event Overview


The new addition to the programme in 2014 was the All Mountain Race.  2017 will be no different from 2015 with the event now being coordinated by Sergeant Brett Barnes, who is no stranger to the NSW Police Games.

The event will now be held at Greenvalleys Mountain Bike Park, Tongarra. This venue is a boutique Mountain Bike park on private property at the foothills of the Macquarie Pass National Park, Tongarra. On the Parks website there is a Location Map (from google maps), on the Contact Us page (right at the bottom of the page).

Competitors are to ride or walk the course prior to the event, with practice sessions starting from 9am. Racing will commence at 1pm.

In the All Mountain Race the following age categories will apply: 19-25, 25-29, 30-34, 34-40, 40+, with male and female divisions included.


Event Rules

Do not scare easy! Australian Standard Approved helmets must be worn by participants at all times. No dangerous riding will be tolerated.

Event Description

Participants are asked to bring with them their own drinks.

Please also be aware that sun protection is also a must for all two events and hydration packs are advisable for the cross country, with full face helmets and body armour advisable for All Mountain Racing.
