Event Overview

The Overview below is the current information (The Overview in the 2017 NSW Police Games Information Book is incorrect).

For the 2017 competition, we are intending on holding 3 matches for competitors to contest. Shooters may be able to contest all time permitting.  For the Scoped and 3 position matches, a standard .22 rifle is suitable.

Three positional match – competitors shoot a Two stage match in the prone (no stand), standing and kneeling positions.
Only approved Target velocity ammunition can be used on the range (Will be available for purchase at the Club).
Scoped Club rifles can be arranged for use. Whilst UIT rifles are available, shooters must have the appropriate accompanying equipment (shooting jacket/sling etc) to shoot this match.

Unlicensed shooters will required to complete a P650 form prior to competing.

Due to the time frames and the focus on a relaxed competition, there will be no grading.  Awards will be based on age categories.

The matches and or length of matches are subject to change.  All avenues will be undertaken to advise registered competitors of any changes to matches prior to the competition.
