The NSW Police & Emergency Services Games Surfing event will be held in the Gong for a third year.
Whether you’re an avid surfer or someone who has just begun or even someone who “free surfs” and has never entered a competition before – this is the event for you. A great social event with a great bunch of people. Give it a try. You’ll love it.
Competitors to meet in the car park of Stuart Park at North Wollongong Beach at 7.30am on Saturday, 19th October, which is north of the roundabout at Grand Pacific Drive and Kembla Street.
Event to be hosted at South Wollongong, North Wollongong, Woonoona or Thirroul, which takes in a number of surf breaks and gives us plenty of options pending conditions of the day.
Competitors seeking accommodation may join us at the Bulli Beach Tourist Park, 1 Farrell Road, Bulli (www.wollongongtouristparks.com.au). This tourist park is perfectly located to provide a gateway to the magnificent natural environment of the Grand Pacific Drive, and its picturesque villages, surf breaks and mountain top vistas.

Heats will be 4-6 mans heat depending on numbers for preliminary rides. International Pro Surfing rules will apply.
Short board and long board divisions are to be contested, as well as male and female events. So if there are any budding champion out there, come along and give it a go.
