Event Overview

The Basketball (5 x 5 Mixed) event is to be held at the University of Wollongong Basketball courts, Northfields Ave, Wollongong on Monday, 25th October from 9am.

UniActive at the University of Wollongong provides a world class facility to meet the training needs of individuals and sporting teams. The Sports Hall is a multi-purpose facility catering for a broad range of indoor activities, including this year’s Basketball event (Mens 5 x 5). With toilets, canteen and other facilities (such as squash courts and swimming pool close by) this facility is sure to meet the needs of our event.

As in previous year’s, Team Managers please register your team early, so that draws may be facilitated and players may register into your team.

Event Rules

Australian Basketball rules apply.

PLUS the additional rules below:

1. At least 3 females must be on the Court for the entire of the game,
2. No female can be blocked whilst shooting.

Event Description

Mixed Basketball is a great way to spend time with friends and colleagues, keep fit and relieve stress. In this competition, the emphasis is on enjoyment, social atmosphere and skill.

I encourage all agencies to get a team together to contest this event. Don’t miss out on participating with your fellow colleagues.
