2024 NSW Police & Emergency Services Games to be held in Wollongong,  20-27 September 2024.

On behalf of Chair, Deputy Commissioner Hudson, APM and the Executive of the NSW Police Force Council of Sport, we are excited to announce the Police & Emergency Services Games are back after being postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Featuring over 30 sports, including new additions in Axe Throwing and Darts, the 2024 event is bound to have a sport you can get involved in. See the “Sports Event” page for details and costs for individual sports.

Eligibility to participate in the 2024 NSW Police Games is at the discretion of the NSW Police Games Committee, however, employees of the following agencies are invited to compete:

  • NSW Police employees (including volunteers in policing);
  • Full-time NSW government employees with a law enforcement role;
  • Fire and Rescue NSW;
  • NSW Ambulance;
  • NSW State Emergency Service;
  • NSW Department of Community and Justice;
  • NSW Rural Fire Service;
  • NSW Sheriff’s office;
  • NSW Mines Rescue;
  • Australian Federal Police (posted to NSW)
  • Australian Defence Force (posted to NSW)
  • VRA Rescue NSW

Retired and family members from each of these agencies are also encouraged to take part.

All competitors should be sufficiently fit and ready for competition, to maximise enjoyment and minimise the risk of personal injury. If unsure, or competing in strenuous competition, please consult with your physician before commencing competition.
